Our Instructors

Pixel Time is Wichita’s fun, friendly place to learn more about technology. Pixel Time classes explore the digital arts of photography, family moviemaking and animation as well as the technologies of web site development, iPad and iPhone app development, and video game design. Pixel Time also offers classes on Mac, iLife and iWorks.

Pixel Time instructors

  • Skyler Lovelace directs the digital media program at Butler Community College, where she oversees four Mac design studios. Her background includes masters degrees in instructional design and fine arts, as well as a doctorate in education. In 2008, she established Pixel Time as a learning center for the digital arts. Skyler’s current projects explore combining digital and traditional media–look for her “Pixels and Ink” workshops coming to Pixel Time in spring 2012.
  • Kevin Keplar is a certified Mac technician who’s taught people how to get more from their Macs for more than ten years. Kevin teaches the Saturday Mac School at Pixel Time, which includes classes in Snow Leopard, iLife and iWorks.
  • Seth Etter is a freelance web professional who designs and develops websites and web applications on a contract basis.
  • Chris Clark blogs both personally and professionally. She’s worked as a daily newspaper journalist as well.
